I ran today! I ran! It was fun! I did not die of exhaustion (I took it very slowly). Woohoo! My scheme was like this:

2 minutes running
2 minutes walking

x4

Also, my shoes, which are actually tennis shoes that I hadn't used in ages, squeaked like I was stepping on a monkey every time my foot touched the ground. Someone even said: "Hey, who's kicking a monkey?" and I quickly turned the corner and ran a little harder.

Okay maybe no one said that. But only because it was seven in the morning and no one in the whole wide world was even awake yet.

Okay, so. Haha. I failed.

Not only did I fail to run, I also failed to get up and go to class. So I adjusted my To-Do list for the day, included some extra studying, and well, that's that.

And now I'm here and it's friday night and I'm wondering what to do and tomorrow I have to go to work and I dread it.

Guys.

I'm starting running tomorrow.

I know, I know, I've said this before. I've tried this before. In fact, I had my alarm set at 6.30 this morning, for the sole purpose of doing a morning run. As soon as my alarm went off, I turned off my phone and went back to sleep.

But tomorrow it will happen.

Well, well! Although I pressed snooze today, it was just to turn off the sound of my alarm. I grabbed my Ipod shuffle and turned it on, playing a song I'd picked the night before -- Cripple and the Starfish by Antony and the Johnsons (beautiful song, really).

When the song finished, I still was ready to get back to sleep haha. I forced myself to get up halfway during Placebo (For what it's worth), so I was out at maybe 8.05 -- not bad!

By the way, I have no problems getting up when I have to. It's just that I'd like to get up early even when I don't have to.

Actually, I just logged in here to turn off the Dreamwidth news notification that I keep getting in my email inbox... but then I got sucked in and before I knew it I was on the 'latest things' page and adding people to my circle.
